Job Posting: Hospitality Assistant at LaPeetch

We are in search of new talent to join our team at Okay, Perfect: a hospitality assistant at LaPeetch, our historic vacation rental, and home of the Couraegeous Cooking School in Grasse France. The Hospitality Assistant will manage the daily housekeeping at LaPeetch and help create a warm, welcoming environment for our guests.

This is a part-time, seasonal position from April-June 2024, approximately 15-20 hours per week. There is a possibility of additional hours in the summer. This role starts at 15-17EUR per hour.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in the hospitality industry

  • Experience in housekeeping/ household management 

  • Experience and/ or interest in the food and wine industry 

  • Fluent in English, conversational in French (minimum B1) 

  • Warm, approachable, demeanor. Happy to interact with our guests and make them feel welcome and at home. 

Responsibilities:

  • Spread up/ turndown of guest rooms each shift ensuring rooms are clean, functional and inviting for our guests 

  • Function as one of our front facing hospitalians with guests, including beverage & lunch/dinner services. Make guests feel welcome and comfortable. 

  • Arrange tablescape and setting for each meal, polishing glass & silverware, arranging flowers, etc. 

  • Maintain daily house laundry & ironing (kitchen towels, table settings)

  • Maintain dish duty along with chef instructor throughout shift 

  • Aide chef instructor with kitchen prepwork & closing duties as requested 

  • Complete weekly turnover of La Peetch between groups of guests ensuring the entire house is impeccably clean and ready to accept the next group of guests.
